AI Engineer – Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & Generative AI

Role Overview

Emarat Maritime is looking for an innovative and hands-on AI Engineer to join our technology team and help drive the next generation of digital transformation across our vessel and shore operations. You will design, develop and deploy secure, scalable and production-ready AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort and enable smarter, data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI/ML models and AI-powered business applications
• Develop Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Build AI chatbots, copilots and virtual assistants using Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Integrate AI solutions with ERP, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and other enterprise platforms
• Deploy AI/ML models using Azure AI, Azure Machine Learning, or OpenAI
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines and manage data quality for AI applications
• Implement MLOps practices including model versioning, deployment pipelines, and monitoring

Requirements

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning / Deep Learning
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch or equivalent ML frameworks
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, chatbots, or copilots
• Knowledge of Azure AI, Azure Machine Learning, or OpenAI
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline
