Job Description
Role Overview
As an Intern-Technology at Emerson, you will contribute to the product development of Ovation DCS, SCADA applications, and virtualization tools. You will work within a collaborative environment to support product quality, testing, and system maintenance while developing your technical expertise in automation technology.
Responsibilities
- Product Development of Ovation DCS, Ovation Green SCADA, Productivity Tools, and Protocol Simulators
- Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance of test systems
- Continuous development of skill on DCS product components
- Coordination with the product development team
- Maintain product quality testing within agreed schedules
Requirements
- Knowledge of Distributed Control System (DCS) or SCADA applications
- Knowledge of networking and its tools
- Basic Knowledge of Security and virtualization
- Understanding of Software Testing Lifecycle
- Knowledge of computer system architecture and Windows operating systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer/IT, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Power Engineering preferred
