About the Role

We are looking for an experienced LiveKit Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable real-time audio, video, and data communication applications using the LiveKit platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in WebRTC technologies, backend development, cloud infrastructure, and real-time media streaming to build secure, high-performance communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy real-time communication applications using LiveKit.
• Build and maintain scalable audio, video, screen-sharing, and data communication solutions.
• Integrate LiveKit SDKs with web and mobile applications.
• Develop backend services for authentication, room management, participant management, and media workflows.
• Optimize application performance, latency, bandwidth utilization, and media quality.
• Troubleshoot WebRTC connectivity issues, including ICE, STUN, TURN, and NAT traversal.
• Implement recording, streaming, and media processing capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, Backend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable communication features.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high platform availability.
