QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a competent, resourceful, and motivated person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Review business and software requirements and provide QA inputs.
• Design, write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate REST APIs, requests, responses, status codes, and error handling.
• Perform basic database testing and data validation using SQL.
• Work with the development team to understand the underlying technology and improve test coverage.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
• Debug and investigate customer-reported issues and identify recurring patterns.
• Prepare test execution and QA reports.
• Ensure that the product adheres to functional and business specifications.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Good experience in manual testing and API testing.
• Working knowledge of Postman, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
