Platform developer (DEV OPS)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and Kubernetes. You will be responsible for building scalable deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure, improving system reliability, and supporting production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot performance, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release processes.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Automate operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting.
• Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Maintain version control and deployment workflows using Git and GitHub.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ELB, EKS, Route 53, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Experience supporting production environments and handling incident management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Argo CD or GitOps practices.
• Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools.
• Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience with ECS, Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of DevSecOps concepts and security best practices.
• AWS or Kubernetes certifications are an added advantage.
