Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and Kubernetes. You will be responsible for building scalable deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure, improving system reliability, and supporting production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Monitor production systems and troubleshoot performance, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release processes.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Automate operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting.
- Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Maintain version control and deployment workflows using Git and GitHub.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ELB, EKS, Route 53, CloudWatch).
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Experience supporting production environments and handling incident management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Argo CD or GitOps practices.
- Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
- Experience with ECS, Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
- Understanding of DevSecOps concepts and security best practices.
- AWS or Kubernetes certifications are an added advantage.
