QA Engineer – Manual Testing ( Chandigarh)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong manual testing skills to test a complex web-based product. The ideal candidate should be able to think like a user, understand complex workflows, and find issues others may miss.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex business requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Conduct exploratory, negative, and edge-case testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
• Perform impact-based regression testing after fixes and new releases.
• Test complex workflows involving multiple modules, roles, permissions, and integrations.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain test documentation and ensure adequate test coverage.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in manual testing, preferably with complex SaaS/web applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect life cycle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think beyond predefined test cases and identify edge cases and potential failures.
• Experience with Jira and Postman is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and SQL is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
