Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

Location: Banglore

Experience: 4–8 years

We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines from SAP and other enterprise systems into Microsoft Fabric.

The role focuses on data extraction, transformation, modelling, quality checks and preparing reliable datasets for Power BI and future AI applications.

Responsibilities

· Build pipelines using Fabric Data Factory or Azure Data Factory.

· Extract data from SAP ECC or S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.

· Develop full and incremental data-loading processes.

· Create bronze, silver and gold data layers.

· Transform data using SQL, Python and Spark where required.

· Build fact tables, dimension tables and curated datasets.

· Implement data-quality, reconciliation, logging and monitoring.

· Support Power BI dashboards and Excel-report automation.

· Maintain technical documentation and source control.

Required Skills

· Strong SQL

· Microsoft Fabric or Azure data-platform experience

· Azure Data Factory or Fabric Data Factory

· Python

· ETL/ELT pipeline development

· Data Lake, Lakehouse or Data Warehouse concepts

· Data modelling and incremental loading

· SAP ECC or S/4HANA data extraction

· Data quality and troubleshooting

Nice to Have

SAP CDS Views, APIs, OData, Spark, Delta Lake, Power BI, Synapse, Purview, Copilot, RAG and manufacturing experience.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
