Junior Developer

Role Overview

Everforth ECS is seeking a creative and energetic Junior Developer to support the custom application development of HR solutions. This role involves working directly with users to provide engineering solutions, debugging support, and developing custom micro applications per client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with users to provide engineering solutions and debugging support
• Develop custom micro applications and identify enhancements to existing applications
• Develop software application tests and testing strategies
• Script solutions to automate manual processes and automate administrative tasks using Ansible
• Follow version control processes and strengthen application security
• Leverage application metrics to inform technical and business decisions

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of related experience
• 2+ years of integration, systems analysis, or programming experience
• 2+ years of debugging and managing Services/Applications in Production environments
• 3+ years of experience with Springboot, React, Angular, or GoLang
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (microservices), pods, Gitlab, and JSON
• General knowledge of OpenShift and Splunk

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Git
• Experience developing and maintaining customer-facing applications
• Experience supporting/creating REST and SOAP applications
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Practical knowledge of systems engineering and networking
