SDET - QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an SDET - QA Automation Engineer with 2-5 years of experience and a strong background in automation testing and programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products, specifically focusing on web applications and SaaS products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation test strategies, plans, and test cases for software applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python.
• Utilize Playwright tool with JavaScript for test automation where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test automation opportunities and enhance testing efficiency.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of web applications.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
• Analyze test results and report defects to the development team with detailed information.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in automation testing and test case development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation testing.
• Familiarity with Playwright tool and JavaScript for automation testing is a plus.
• Experience in framework development for test automation.
• Experience in testing web applications and SaaS products is preferred.
