Software Developer - Python

Role Overview

We are looking for an API Developer to design, develop, test, and support cloud-native microservices and API integrations for a Consumer Data Right (CDR) Data Adapter Platform. The developer will build secure and scalable APIs, implement data transformation logic, and integrate with banking and Open Banking ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based microservices using FastAPI or Flask.
• Build and maintain REST APIs.
• Integrate with Core Banking and Card Platforms using Open Banking/CDR standards.
• Implement API orchestration and source-system connectors.
• Develop JSON-based transformation and mapping services.
• Containerize applications using Docker and support Kubernetes deployments.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation and deployment activities.
• Write unit and integration test cases using PyTest.
• Analyze incidents and perform root cause analysis for production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of professional experience.
• 4+ years of Python development experience.
• Proficiency in REST API development and JSON/XML processing.
• Experience with SQL databases and Git version control.
