Computer Hardware Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Computer Hardware Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various computer systems and server equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware problems in computers, servers, and related equipment
• Perform regular maintenance to prevent system failures
• Help identify technical problems and suggest effective solutions
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware components
• Coordinate with software engineers and IT teams to resolve system-related issues
• Ensure compatibility of hardware with Windows, Linux, and macOS
• Respond quickly to hardware breakdowns and emergency repair needs

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and architecture
• Hands-on experience in hardware repair and troubleshooting
• Understanding of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management skills to handle multiple repair tasks efficiently

Nice to Have

• Experience in assembling and disassembling computer systems
• Knowledge of networking hardware like Routers and Switches
• Experience in preventive maintenance and system upgrades
• Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
