Remote AI Platform Engineer

Role Overview

We are building the next generation of property operations software, creating an AI-powered digital twin for multifamily housing. We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to help build the intelligence layer that powers our entire platform, including AI agents, computer vision, and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop AI agents capable of using tools and APIs.
• Build semantic search across residents, leases, work orders, and smart devices.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies and evaluation frameworks.
• Create AI orchestration workflows using modern agent frameworks.
• Integrate foundation models including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini.
• Work closely with Laravel and React teams to embed AI throughout the platform.
• Continuously improve response quality, latency, and accuracy.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and REST APIs.
• Experience with LLM APIs, Embeddings, and Vector Databases.
• Strong understanding of RAG Architecture and Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with one or more: LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP, Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.

Nice to Have

• Computer Vision and OCR.
• AWS and Event-driven architecture.
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• FastAPI and Laravel integrations.
• Experience working with IoT or smart devices.
