Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer II with 3-5 years of experience in software development, API integration, and middleware technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise integration solutions. This role involves working with APIs, messaging platforms, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices to deliver scalable and reliable business applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including application development, architecture, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to build and support integration services while following Agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support APIs, web services, and middleware components based on business and technical requirements.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues and support production and non-production environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD and automation practices.
- Support cloud-native deployments pipelines and containerized applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Monitor application health and assist in incident resolution using standard monitoring and logging tools.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or integration engineering.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and web services.
- Understanding of API management concepts, security, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of messaging and event-driven architectures, preferably with Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
