Responsibilities

• Work closely with the developers, architects and the product owners to understand why we're building a feature and what the specific requirements are.
• Be responsible for planning and executing tests to ensure new features and products work as intended.
• Create test plans and other relevant documentation and design and execute test cases.
• Think about what is good for the products in the long term when making decisions.
• Deep dive to find the root causes of issues and propose solutions.
• Be passionate and experienced with backend testing but are not hesitant to explore frontend testing if needed in your team.
• Contribute towards the full responsibilities of the team as a team player.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working as a tester.
• Innovative and stays up to date with the latest test frameworks.
• Detail-oriented and has a curious mindset to understand our products and ensure their continued stability.
• Experienced at solving challenging problems in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Problem solver, open to learning new technologies.
• Role model in behavior (proactive communication, collaboration – within and across teams) with a positive mindset.
• Experience with modern test frameworks such as TestNG, Cypress and Rest Assured.
• Experience with development technologies including Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JMS, JSON, and Oracle.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, influxDB & Splunk.
• Experience with pipeline tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes, and Continuous delivery practices.
• Familiarity with best development practices, Agile and lean values.
