Java Developer - GCP

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with GCP expertise to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java development, cloud technologies, and building scalable enterprise applications. Candidates should be comfortable working remotely and must be available for a one-time office visit to the Noida office for the onboarding process.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build and deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Ensure application reliability, security, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (4 years required).
• Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud-native application development.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools is an added advantage.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be willing to visit the Noida office once for the onboarding process.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
