AI Engineer

Role Overview

As an AI Engineer at Finastra, you will design, develop, analyze, and maintain high-quality software product applications. This role is based in Bangalore and involves building end-to-end AI applications, including RAG pipelines, intelligent assistants, and text analytics workflows.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Design and develop high-quality AI Solutions.
• Test, debug, analyze, and fix application problems/issues.
• Develop AI solutions such as RAG pipelines, intelligent assistants, and text analytics workflows.
• Apply prompt engineering and context engineering techniques to optimize LLM performance.
• Implement API integrations, function calling, and tool usage patterns.
• Use frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph to build and maintain AI pipelines.
• Deploy and support AI solutions on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Implement observability and monitoring for AI systems.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience.
• Good proficiency in Python for AI and machine learning development.
• Strong understanding of LLM fundamentals, embeddings, and prompting.
• Knowledge of RAG and agent-based workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or FAISS.
• Understanding of Git, version control, and APIs.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
