Role Overview
As a Software Engineer at FIS, you will design, build, enhance, and support enterprise applications that power critical business operations. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, delivering scalable, reliable, and high-performing solutions using modern Java technologies and web frameworks within the Financial Domain.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and integration services.
- Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular.
- Create and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL components.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
- Deploy and maintain applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development and production support.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful web services.
- Experience developing modern web applications using Angular.
- Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
- Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, Jetty, or WebLogic.
- Experience in the Financial Domain is a must.
