Expertise Azure Cloud with Data Engineer (ETL, SSIS) || Pune

Role Overview

As a Data Engineering - Specialist at Fiserv, you will work closely with Business Units, Product Owners, Data Architects, and Scrum Teams to design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise data integration, data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions. You will build scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms to enable business-critical reporting and insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Snowflake, SQL Server, and SSIS.
• Build and support scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and data warehousing.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, stored procedures, tasks, streams, and data-sharing solutions.
• Design and maintain Azure-based data solutions utilizing Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, Azure SQL, and related services.
• Develop and support operational, analytical, and executive reporting solutions using SSRS.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Harness for automated deployment.
• Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Daily Standups.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Reporting solutions.
• Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/BSc in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, and Event Hub.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and query tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL development.
• Strong experience developing and supporting SSRS reports and dashboards.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data governance.
