Role Overview
Flam is an AI-native content platform generating life-like immersive visuals and fluid interactions. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. You will work closely with experienced developers to design, build, and test features that impact real users, gaining exposure to the full software development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and test software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues across different environments.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
- Assist in integrating APIs, improving performance, and maintaining existing systems.
- Design and develop interactive 3D experiences using Three.js, WebGL, and the Canvas API.
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks, databases, or cloud technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and modular frontends using React and Next.js.
- Build reusable components and libraries using modern frontend frameworks.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice To Have
- Prior internship or project experience in software development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with React, Vue.js, Next.js or another frontend framework.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Exposure to Git/GitHub, APIs, or DevOps tools.
- Understanding of Agile development processes.
