Software Engineer

Role Overview

A high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company is hiring its founding India team. As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain product features end to end, working closely with product and design to turn requirements into reliable, well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the stack, from design through to production
• Write clean, well-tested code and review peers' pull requests
• Break down requirements into shippable increments and estimate work realistically
• Debug and resolve production issues, tracing root causes rather than symptoms
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA through the feature lifecycle
• Keep documentation, tests, and CI pipelines current for the code you own

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years building production software in a modern language
• Solid computer-science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and system design basics
• Comfort working with relational or NoSQL databases and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to a public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerised deployments
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal GitHub history
• A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
