AWS cloud Engineer Intern

Role Overview

FlexTenure Solutions Private Limited is looking for a highly motivated AWS Cloud Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers an opportunity to work on real-world cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, security, monitoring, and production environments. The selected candidate will collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to build, deploy, maintain, and optimize AWS-based infrastructure while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudFront, Elastic Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling.
• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Monitor infrastructure using Amazon CloudWatch.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Configure networking, security groups, IAM roles, SSL/TLS, and access policies.
• Support PostgreSQL database deployment and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable cloud solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Strong understanding of AWS Cloud Services.
• Hands-on knowledge of EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB, Auto Scaling, and CloudWatch.
• Good understanding of Linux administration.
• Experience with Docker.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD concepts.
• Familiarity with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS).
• Basic scripting using Bash or Python.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and production environments.
