Back End Developer intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Backend Developer to build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have experience designing REST APIs, working with databases, integrating third-party services, and maintaining production-ready applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver reliable software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications.
• Build clean, reusable, and maintainable server-side code.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications.
• Design database schemas and optimize database performance.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT or OAuth.
• Integrate payment gateways, KYC services, and third-party APIs.
• Optimize API response time and implement caching using Redis.
• Write unit tests and integration tests.
• Maintain API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI or Postman.
• Work with Git and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1-3 years of backend development experience or strong internship/project experience.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of software design principles and design patterns.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
