AI Engineer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on AI Engineer Intern to join our growing AI team. The ideal candidate has experience building and deploying LLM-based applications using modern tools and platforms. You will work across the stack to bring cutting-edge AI systems into production, focusing on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agent Systems, scalable backend services, and cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs and microservices using FastAPI or Flask.
• Design and deploy LLM-based applications leveraging RAG architectures, Agent Systems, GraphRAG, and function/tool-calling workflows.
• Integrate with LLM APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, and others.
• Work with vector databases like Pinecone, and PGvector for intelligent retrieval in AI systems.
• Build and orchestrate AI pipelines using LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Autogen Studio.
• Leverage Azure AI Studio to train, deploy, and monitor AI models in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build end-to-end AI features integrated with scalable cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (BE / B. TECH in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence).
• 0 to 1 year of hands-on experience with Python API frameworks and SQL.
• Strong coding skills in Python, with experience in FastAPI or Flask.
• Exposure with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and deploying open-source models (Llama 2, Mistral, etc.).
• Exposure to knowledge of vector search and retrieval frameworks (LlamaIndex, LangChain).
• Exposure to cloud platforms, especially Azure and Azure AI Studio.
• Exposure to Autogen Studio for agentic workflow development and orchestration.
• Knowledge of ML tools such as PyTorch, Transformers, and Hugging Face.
• Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with testing practices.
