Web Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Web Developer to join our team in Mumbai. You’ll be working on new website pages, updates to existing sites, fixes and regular development tasks. The role is mainly focused on front-end development, so you should be comfortable working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and have some experience building responsive websites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update websites based on project requirements.
• Build pages that work properly across desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Write and maintain HTML, CSS and JavaScript code.
• Make changes to existing website features and layouts.
• Fix website errors, broken elements and browser-related issues.
• Convert design files into working web pages.
• Test pages and features before they go live.
• Check forms, links and basic website functionality.
• Work with APIs and third-party services when required.
• Maintain existing websites and make updates without affecting current features.
• Work with designers and other team members on website changes.
• Keep track of assigned tasks and provide updates on development work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Web Development or a related field.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience creating responsive websites.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap or similar front-end frameworks.
• Basic understanding of Git and version control.
• Familiarity with REST APIs is a plus.
• WordPress or other CMS experience will be useful.
• Comfortable working with existing code as well as developing new pages.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
