NodeJS with AWS - Backend Developer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain robust microservices using Node.js.
• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and integrations for MERN stack applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration with React/React Native components.
• Design and implement efficient database schemas; manage and optimize data in MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high code quality.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for architecture, code, and workflows.
• Implement and support AWS serverless architecture solutions.
• Learn and apply AI-driven agentic architectures and emerging technologies.
• Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and security.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js and MongoDB (PostgreSQL knowledge preferred).
• Proficiency in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Good experience as a Full-Stack Developer with React/React Native.
• Experience with AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and present ideas effectively.
• Certifications in AWS are a plus.
• Exposure to AI-based development (Vibe coding/agentic systems) is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MongoDB database design, advanced querying, vector search, and data management.
