2026 Startup Lab Associate—Software Engineering/Data Science [HYD]

Role Overview

You and your team will build a new product from the ground up in 3 months. Working in a small, flat, and cross-functional team, you will help bridge the gap between user needs, technical constraints, and business value. This is a founder-style environment where roles overlap and evolve, requiring a specialized skill set and a willingness to wear many hats to ensure the success of your startup team.

Responsibilities

• Care about and empathise with the end user.
• Hit the ground running and begin writing meaningful shipping code by the end of week one.
• Embrace core concepts and design patterns including Object-Oriented, Protocol-Oriented, and Reactive Programming.
• Review code from peer engineers to promulgate best practices.
• Communicate development status to stakeholders.
• Learn and leverage relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes.
• Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives.
• Collaborate with teammates to prioritise product enhancements based on impact.

Requirements

• Recently completed a Bachelor's or advanced degree from a top-tier university.
• An entrepreneurial work style and attitude with a bias towards action.
• Experience developing in a high-level programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or Swift.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be fully available in Hyderabad from 27 July 2026 through 23 October 2026.
