Backend Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend applications, building high-performance REST APIs, and collaborating across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
• Build, test, and maintain REST APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and improve application performance.
• Work closely with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and other team members to deliver features on time.
• Use Git for version control and Docker for application deployment.
• Assist in deploying and maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Good knowledge of Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
• Basic knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
