Data Science Intern

Role Overview

Future Interns is inviting applications for the Data Science & Analytics Intern position for the August 2026 internship cycle. This internship is suited for individuals who are interested in data analysis, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making. Interns will contribute to analytical projects involving data preparation, reporting, visualization, and insight generation while working alongside mentors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and validating datasets.
• Support data cleaning and preprocessing activities.
• Perform exploratory data analysis using appropriate analytical tools.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Create visualizations that effectively communicate analytical findings.
• Maintain project documentation and analytical reports.
• Collaborate with project teams on assigned analytics tasks.
• Follow data management and reporting standards throughout project work.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of data analysis, statistics, or business analytics.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and analytical concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking and logical reasoning abilities.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or R.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques.
• Academic or personal analytics projects are considered an advantage.
