Front End Developer, Shopify Headless

Role Overview

GAJAN Group Holdings is looking for our first dedicated front end developer to work across our Shopify brands and web products. You will build and maintain headless Shopify storefronts and the front ends of our SaaS products, owning your function outright in a small, high-impact team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain headless Shopify storefronts using Hydrogen or Next.js with the Storefront API.
• Own theme work on existing Shopify stores where headless is not warranted.
• Build front ends for SaaS products in React.
• Write Python scripts and light backend endpoints as needed.
• Optimize for page speed, conversion, and Core Web Vitals.
• Work directly with the founder and designers.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of real front end experience with React.
• Experience building or working on at least one Shopify storefront, theme, or headless setup.
• Working knowledge of the Shopify Storefront API.
• Proficiency in Python for scripts, small APIs, or automation.
• Strong written English skills.
• Ability to provide live URLs and repositories of shipped work.
• Based in India, working IST hours.
