QA Manual Tester

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated QA Manual Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our motor insurance workflows. You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing test cases, and executing various testing types to validate complex insurance processes, including policy issuance, claims, and premium calculations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Test motor insurance workflows including quote, policy issuance, renewal, cancellation, endorsement, and claims.
• Validate premium calculations, discounts, taxes, commissions, and policy rules.
• Verify integrations with payment gateways, third-party services, and external insurance systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Perform API validation using Postman and execute SQL queries for backend validation.
• Participate in defect triage, requirement discussions, and release validation.

Requirements

• Strong experience in manual software testing.
• Deep understanding of STLC, SDLC, defect life cycle, and test methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test case design and execution.
• Domain knowledge of motor insurance processes and terminology.
• Proficiency with defect-management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.

Nice to Have

• API testing using Postman.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Knowledge of insurance systems such as policy administration and claims platforms.
