Associate Data Engineer

Role Overview

Welcome to Gallagher in India, where expertise, technology, and purpose come together. As an Associate Data Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and test infrastructures for data generation, creating optimal data pipeline architectures to meet complex business needs and drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and test infrastructures for data generation and optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex datasets to meet functional and nonfunctional business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements and automate manual processes for greater scalability.
• Build infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data using SQL and big data technologies.
• Work with Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to support data infrastructure needs.
• Ensure data security and separation across multiple data centers and AWS regions.
• Create data and analytics tools to assist data scientists in building industry-leading products.

Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision.
• Capability to solve difficult IT function-related problems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
