Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer contractor to build and maintain scalable backend services and full-stack solutions that power our ERP systems across multiple domains. You’ll be working in a team to support the timely delivery of key business initiatives for our ecommerce platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Java and Springboot.
- Build and deploy microservices in AWS and GCP.
- Participate in projects to deliver new and innovative ecommerce features.
Requirements
- 4-7+ years of backend/ full stack development experience with strong software engineering foundation.
- Curious, self-motivated, and a good team player.
- Take pride in building innovative and high-quality products.
- Strong proficiency in Spring boot.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, or AWS/Azur) and their main services.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration.
- Experience in building and consuming REST APIs.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with modern Javascript framework is desirable.
