Associate Data Scientist

Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Data Scientist in the Insights & Product Analytics team for high-impact data science initiatives that convert diverse data into actionable insights and decision support. This role focuses on text analytics, unstructured data, and using creative ways to visualize and interpret data for research. You will work closely with stakeholders to optimize data mining and improve the accuracy of insights using NLP, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and LLM models.

Responsibilities

• Execute large scale high impact data science projects using advanced technologies to extract and visualize insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute solutions using Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.
• Innovate in text analytics and develop creative approaches for interpreting complex datasets.
• Build text analytics and knowledge retrieval capabilities for large-scale unstructured data.
• Define standards for evaluation, guardrails, prompt engineering, and hallucination control.
• Ensure responsible AI practices covering data privacy, safety, and auditability.
• Solve business challenges with ML and NLP at the center.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in data science, AI, or ML roles.
• Expertise in LLM customization techniques such as RAG, tuning, and advanced prompting.
• Proven expertise in Python, NLP, and advanced ML/DL algorithms.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Strong background in data preparation and handling large-scale unstructured text data.
• Familiarity with vector databases and distributed computing.
