Role Overview

The Intern will be provided in-depth training on fundamentals of IP, using IP databases, and analyzing the novelty and patentability of inventions. The Intern is expected to have a sharp learning curve, a good fundamental understanding of engineering concepts, and the ability to understand drawings and go beyond their specific domain.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of IP, database tools, and options, including basics of Patents and non-patent literature.
• Learn the formation of search strategies to analyze concepts and recommend patent potential using free and subscribed databases.
• Develop a good understanding of technology landscapes.

Requirements

• Final year M.Tech student or completed B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics engineering, or a related discipline.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A passion for technology.
• Good experience handling MS Office.
• Good visualization of problem statements, drawings, and figures.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms.
• Prior experience in Python.
