Devops Engineer

Role Overview

Join GemOne, a fast-growing tech company and daughter of TVH, building smart telematics solutions for industrial fleets. As a DevOps Engineer within the Platform team, you will focus on improving existing infrastructure and implementing new solutions to drive business growth, playing a pioneering role in greenfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Terraform configurations for managing GCP resources
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
• Automate infrastructure deployments and configuration management using CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
• Stay up-to-date on the latest GCP and Terraform features and best practices

Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD)
• Scripting experience with languages like Bash or Python
• Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Experience with a cloud service provider, preferably GCP
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive mindset and ability to challenge the status quo
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Cloud Monitoring)
• Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
