Software Development Intern – CallingGen

Role Overview

GenXReality is looking for a Software Development Intern to join the product development team for CallingGen, a communication and calling platform. This is a hands-on development role focused on writing code, building features, testing, debugging, and improving a live web-based product.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code
• Develop and implement new features for CallingGen
• Work across frontend and backend components of the platform
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations
• Work with databases and backend services
• Develop web application interfaces, dashboards, and workflows
• Work with calling and real-time communication functionality
• Test new features and identify bugs
• Debug and resolve application issues
• Improve existing features, performance, and reliability
• Integrate third-party services and APIs
• Work with the development team to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Participate in testing, deployment, and product improvements

Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals
• Good problem-solving and logical-thinking skills
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Basic understanding of frontend and backend development
• Understanding of APIs and databases
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Ability to write, test, and debug code
• Willingness to learn and work across different areas of a web application
