Role Overview
Full Time, Onsite (Bangalore). We are looking for Interns and Freshers/Recent Grads (Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineers) with 0-2 years of hands-on experience to join our Product R&D team. You will work on cutting-edge projects in Aerospace, Rocketry, Satellite Communications, Robotics, and EVs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of robotic systems such as bipedal robots, manipulators, ornithopters, and bionics.
- Perform hands-on work in core electronics, embedded systems, and firmware development using STM32, ESP32, and IOT Sensors.
- Assist in wiring, testing, and integrating microcontrollers, power systems, drivers, and sensors.
- Utilize 3D Design and 3D Printing for rapid prototype development.
- Implement and tune PID and model-based controllers for robotic actuation.
- Work with simulators such as Gazebo, Webots, or Isaac Sim.
- Implement ROS1/ROS2 nodes, topics, services, and actions.
- Develop URDF/SRDF models and integrate them into simulation.
- Dedicate 15-20% of time to mentoring young minds in advanced R&D research.
Requirements
- Mechanical + Core Electronics background.
- At least 100+ hours of 3D Design (preferably Fusion 360) and 3D Printing (FDM) experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of IOT and Embedded systems (Arduino, STM boards, LoRA, GSM/GPS, IMUs, etc.).
- Proven experience with ROS2, Gazebo, and URDF through building working robotic/mechatronic prototype hardware.
Nice to Have
- PCB Design and Fabrication skills (EasyEDA or KiCad).
- Experience with flight controllers, Power distribution boards, and battery management systems.
- Advanced fabrication skills like CNC machining, Sheet metal forming, or Carbon fiber composite fabrication.
