Role Overview

JCP is hiring a Fullstack Developer to join a high-performing engineering team supporting a large-scale retail enterprise platform. This role is based in Bangalore on a hybrid model (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in office) and is ideal for professionals passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications in a modern microservices ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build responsive and high-performance user interfaces using ReactJS
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless frontend-backend integration
• Contribute to Merchandising, Catalog, and CMS feature development
• Participate in solution design and technical discussions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning and reviews

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in Fullstack development
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture
• Hands-on experience in ReactJS (Hooks, Functional Components, State Management)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API integrations
• Experience with SQL databases (Oracle/MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience with build tools such Maven or Gradle
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles

Nice to Have

• Experience or exposure to Java 21
• Experience in Retail / eCommerce domain
• Experience working on Merchandising, Product Catalog, or CMS platforms
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Experience in performance optimization for high-traffic applications
