Python Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Software Engineer with strong commercial experience in developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade Python applications and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will drive the migration of suitable UiPath/RPA solutions to Python as part of the organization's strategic engineering roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Python applications and automation solutions.
• Migrate suitable UiPath/RPA processes into scalable Python-based implementations.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve production issues while ensuring application stability and performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Follow software engineering best practices, including version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and code quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications using Python.
• Experience with REST API development, data processing, and automation solutions.
• Good understanding of software engineering best practices, including source control (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with UiPath or other Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms.
• Experience migrating automation workflows from RPA platforms to Python.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.
