Role Overview

We are building an open-source AI Agent Harness for healthcare and are looking for highly motivated students, developers, researchers, and AI enthusiasts to join our unpaid fellowship. You will work on the underlying agent infrastructure, security, orchestration, tools, workflows, and multi-agent systems needed to build autonomous healthcare applications.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and extending our open-source AI agent harness
• Building AI agents and multi-agent workflows
• Security testing and adversarial testing of the agent harness
• Identifying prompt injection, tool-use, authorization, data leakage, and agent isolation vulnerabilities
• Building tools and MCP-style integrations for agents
• Connecting agents to APIs, EMRs, payer portals, databases, and healthcare systems
• Designing agent memory, context, permissions, and workflow orchestration
• Building evaluation frameworks to measure agent reliability and safety
• Creating automated tests for agents and agent workflows
• Experimenting with autonomous browser agents
• Contributing code, documentation, tests, and security improvements back to the open-source project

Requirements

• Strong interest or experience in AI agents and LLMs
• Technical curiosity and ability to read unfamiliar code
• Interest in cybersecurity and red-teaming agent infrastructure
• Ability to work on complex distributed systems and healthcare technology
