Machine Learning Engineer

Role Overview

As an ML Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment of our core data science and AI models into our Global Mobility Solution platform. You will work within the Data Science & Analytics group at Goodyear to develop innovative solutions for simulating, modeling, and analyzing complex processes across tire intelligence, manufacturing, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the building of our MLOps platform
• Support model deployment into Production platforms, ensuring effective model management including artifact versioning, serving, and inference pipelines
• Support monitoring, logging, and observability to ensure system reliability and performance
• Build and manage containerized deployment environments
• Evaluate and integrate cloud-native services, distributed computing frameworks, and infrastructure automation tools
• Collaborate with data scientists, cloud engineers, and data engineers to optimize AI models productionalization
• Transform proof-of-concept models into production-ready solutions and deploy them at scale
• Build model performance benchmarking, evaluation, and monitoring capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Master's preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models in cloud environments
• Demonstrated experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Python, Git, and CI/CD principles
• Experience with Linux, Docker, and Airflow
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and data pipelines
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices
• Fluency in English
