Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in on-premise Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Jenkins. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing infrastructure, automating deployments, maintaining Kubernetes environments, and ensuring reliable and secure application delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Automate application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and operational processes.
- Monitor system, application, and Kubernetes cluster performance.
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and production issues.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline software releases.
- Implement best practices for availability, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Manage Docker/containerized applications and Kubernetes workloads.
- Maintain deployment scripts, configurations, and automation tools.
- Participate in production support and incident resolution.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably in an on-premise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes components such as Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, and Helm.
- Experience with Git and source-code management.
- Good understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts.
- Scripting knowledge in Shell/Bash or Python.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
