Role Overview
The DevOps Engineer II is a mid-level engineering position responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting automation, deployment, monitoring, and operational reliability across cloud and hosted application environments. This role partners closely with software engineering, site reliability, security, and infrastructure teams to improve continuous integration and continuous delivery processes, infrastructure automation, platform operations, and service resilience. The role emphasizes driving platform reliability and efficiency by applying AI across CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure operations.
Responsibilities
- Own and support software delivery activities, including build, deployment, release, and environment management processes.
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines used to build, test, secure, and deploy applications.
- Provision, configure, and maintain infrastructure in cloud and hosted environments using Infrastructure as Code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, deployment, infrastructure, and environment issues.
- Monitor system health, review logs and telemetry, and implement improvements in reliability and scalability.
- Contribute to standardization of engineering practices, reusable automation, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate across engineering, support, operations, and security teams.
- Participate in operational support and on-call activities.
- Provide guidance to more junior engineers through knowledge sharing and documentation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or Operations support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional experience in Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of CI/CD, Automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows administration, scripting, and source control.
