Fullstack Engineer Intern

Role Overview

As a Fullstack Engineer Intern on the GAM team, you will gain hands-on experience building and shipping real backend and frontend features used by publishers processing large volumes of ad traffic. You will work at the intersection of adtech, data, and scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services that integrate with Google Ad Manager (GAM) and third-party ad networks.
• Develop frontend features and dashboards in React for ad unit management and monitoring.
• Work with large datasets including ad traffic, impressions, and performance metrics.
• Integrate with external APIs, ad networks, and mediation platforms.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, test, and ship features end to end.
• Debug and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Go for backend development.
• Working knowledge of React for frontend development.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and API design.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ClickHouse or BigQuery for large-scale data querying.
• Familiarity with AdMob or AdSense.
• Experience building MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
