Mern Stack Backend Developer Internship (In Office)

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated MERN Stack Backend Intern to join our development team. This 3-month, full-time, in-office internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications while learning industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage databases using MongoDB.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Integrate backend services with frontend applications.
• Debug, test, and optimize application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
• Familiarity with MongoDB and database operations.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of Git and version control.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Students pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of React.js.
• Knowledge of authentication methods such as JWT.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• Exposure to cloud platforms or deployment concepts.
