Software Development Engineer in Test I

Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer in Test I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of robotic automation solutions. You will collaborate with developers to design, implement, and execute test plans, develop automated test frameworks, and perform both functional and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts for new and existing features
• Create and maintain test plans and test cases based on product requirements
• Execute manual and automated test cases and report on testing progress
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
• Participate in design and code reviews to improve overall quality
• Analyze test results, document findings, and suggest improvements

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Basic understanding of SDLC
• Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter
• Experience with issue tracking tools like Jira and CI/CD tools like Jenkins
