Software Engineer Intern

Role Overview

GTPL is looking for enthusiastic and passionate Software Engineer Interns to join our engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience in building real-world software applications while working alongside experienced developers. The role focuses on backend development using Python in an agile environment, with a clear path to a full-time position in Bengaluru for high-performing interns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Assist in backend web application development.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and implement feedback.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on feature development.
• Document technical processes and development activities.
• Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
• Learn and apply software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) completed on or before 2024 with a minimum of 65% aggregate score.
• Good knowledge of Python.
• Basic understanding of Django or Flask.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership qualities and an ownership mindset.
• Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru for full-time work-from-office employment.
• Must have a personal laptop and stable high-speed internet.
