Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled GCP Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with GCP services, cloud networking, automation, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. This role involves building secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure
• Configure and maintain Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, and VPC
• Monitor cloud environments and ensure high availability
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Implement security and compliance best practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and performance issues
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams
• Prepare technical documentation and architecture diagrams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong knowledge of Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud IAM, and VPC
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Bash/Python)
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Immediate joiners preferred

Nice To Have

• Google Professional Cloud Certification
• Experience with Anthos
• Knowledge of Monitoring and Observability tools
• Experience with BigQuery or Cloud SQL
• Multi-cloud exposure (AWS or Azure)
