Software Engineer II - Apps Platform

Role Overview

Join our team building the Integration Gateway, Guidewire's cloud-native integration platform. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, focusing on features, enhancements, and bug fixes for a multi-tenant, cloud-native platform that helps customers connect their cloud systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and run cloud-native integration platforms and SaaS services
• Maintain hands-on coding for over 90% of the time
• Own Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) for your services
• Ensure scalability, availability, and data security for all services
• Triage and resolve code defects and maintain secure code

Requirements

• Minimum 2-4 years of required work experience
• B. Tech or M. Tech degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, multithreading, and AWS
• Deep understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, and performance optimization
• Working knowledge with Kubernetes, AWS, and Docker
• Experience with AWS DynamoDB
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts (consistency, availability, fault-tolerance)
• Ability to work in an agile fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Apache Camel integration framework
• Experience with React.js
• Experience with SQS, S3, and Kafka
