Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled developer to build modern user interfaces and secure, scalable backend APIs. This role requires strong proficiency in the Microsoft stack, modern frontend technologies, and mandatory experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and modern user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs using ASP.NET Core (.NET 6/7/8).
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently.
• Optimise application performance and ensure high-quality user experience.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Use Claude AI (or similar AI coding assistants) and apply prompt engineering to improve development efficiency.
• Stay updated with modern React, .NET, AI-assisted development practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Backend Skills: Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core (.NET 6/7/8), ASP.NET Core Web APIs, RESTful API design and development, and LINQ.
• Database Skills: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database design, Stored Procedures, and query optimization/performance tuning.
• AI-Assisted Development (Mandatory): Hands-on experience using Claude AI (or similar AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor).
• Prompt Engineering Skills: Strong skills for writing production-ready code, debugging, refactoring, documentation, unit test generation, and improving development productivity.
• Development Tools: Proficiency with Git, Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Good understanding of software design principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written English. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within Agile teams.
